Dear parents, carers and students,
As you know we were saddened by the loss of Mr S Haywood at the end of August this year. In memory of his dedication to Catholic Education, Sixth Form are taking over BMCC on the 29th November.
We hope to raise as much money for Compton Care to say thank you to them for looking after our wonderful ex Principal in his last hours. Those who had the privilege of knowing Mr Haywood remember him with fondness for his compassion, his humour and most of all his commitment to improving Catholic schools in order to bring out the best for students and staff.
The Sixth Form Leadership Team and Sixth Form students are asking for your generosity in helping us with our fundraising – if you have any donations/sweets for our raffle we would be grateful.
We would also like to create yellow bunting using the key colour of Compton Care, to raise money so staff and students can put the names of loved ones who are ill or have gone before us to remember them.
If you know a business who could donate gift cards for a raffle please pass on our request or if you would like to make a donation on behalf of your family to our fundraising we would be very grateful as every penny counts.
Below is information on how money raised for Compton Care can be used to support those in need and their families.
Everyone in sixth form at BMCC appreciates that money is tight but if you could help we would be humbled by your generosity.
Finally, we would like you to keep Mr Haywood and his family in your prayers, especially in the month of November when we remember the Holy Souls.
