Student Mental Wellbeing

Happy New Year and I hope you and your families are safe and well.

A massive thanks for all you efforts this week in you engagement with online learning, I have received some great feedback from your teachers.

I am fully aware that this situation is tough and far from ideal, however, we must all do what we can in the national effort to lower cases of coronavirus to keep us all safe. However, In these times of uncertainty and anxiety, it is not uncommon for us to feel low, anxious or depressed, as we struggle to come to turns with being out of routine and not being able to go about our lives as we want to. As young people, it is incredibly important that you raise concerns with your family, friends and teachers so that you can be supported through the next few weeks.

As part of this support we have created a dedicated email address (see below) for you to post your concerns to our pastoral team. All you need to do is send your concern along with your name and a member of staff will be in touch to support you.
