In July 2018 OFSTED continued to judge our college as ‘Good’ following a ‘Section 8’ inspection. Inspectors recognised that ‘the leadership team has maintained the good quality of education in the school since the last inspection. Leaders are ambitious to meet the needs of the communities they serve.’ The report/letter also recognises the caring nature of the school as relationships are a strength and pupils were praised for their excellent attitudes to work and to one another.
Our college is described as ‘forward-looking, inclusive and happy’ and high expectations of teachers and of pupils themselves was observed throughout the inspection. Pupils feel safe and there is a strong culture of safeguarding across the school.

We are justly proud of our excellent reputation within the community. The highest standards are expected from our students in all aspects of their college life. It is also important that we take time to celebrate their personal achievements. Our success is based on ensuring every child is known, by having high expectations of everything we do and a relentless focus on developing and sustaining outstanding teaching.
