Sixth Form Induction and Enrolment

Sixth Form Induction : Wednesday 4th July

The first part of our Induction process for students who have accepted places in Sixth Form will take place on Wednesday 4th July from 9.00 am to 3.20 pm.  In support of the challenging transition between GCSE and A Level, this day will form our ‘Bridging the Gap’ programme where Year 11 student will experience lessons in the subjects you intend to study in Sixth Form, receive tutorials on academic and emotional resilience, meet key members of the college, enjoy our Sixth Form facilities and make new friends!  During this time, students will also be briefed on all further arrangements for enrolment and the start of the academic year. Students should attend in business dress, as detailed in the information posted out to students holding offers of a Sixth Form place. Please ensure that student return packs are brought to College Reception by the end of the Induction Day at the latest.

 

Sixth Form Enrolment: Thursday 23rd August

 Sixth Form Enrolment will take place on GCSE Results Day, Thursday 23rd August, in the Sixth Form Centre. GCSE results will be available for collection between 9am and 9.30am, with enrolment for students who attended Bishop Milner Catholic College for their GCSE studies will take place between 9.30 – 10.30am. Students from other colleges should attend between 1pm and 3pm. Students will have their photograph taken for their college identification badge, agree their programme of study and receive their timetable, badge and student handbook ready for commencement of courses in September.
