In September 2023 the college was subject to a two-day ungraded inspection by Ofsted. Before this, the last time the college was inspected was in 2018 and the framework for inspection has since changed.

 

An ungraded inspection means that HMI were visiting to establish whether Bishop Milner continues to be a “Good” school and to what degree.

 

We continue to be a “Good” school. Leaders were judged to know the school well which, is a welcome validation of the hard work and commitment of many. The two days confirmed for us what we know to be true - that Bishop Milner Catholic College continues to improve at pace and it is right that our progress as a community has been recognised in this way.
