Bishop Milner Catholic College
"Inspiring hearts and minds with Christ at the centre of all we say and do"
Head of School's Welcome
Hello and welcome to Bishop Milner Catholic College! My name is Siobhan Foster and as Head of School, it is my privilege to welcome you to our college website and invite you to learn more about our fantastic community and the 11-18 provision we are so very proud of.
Staff here are fully committed to helping students excel through an ambitious curriculum, Quality First Teaching, the very best of pastoral care and the highest standards of behaviour. Importantly, as a Catholic college, our mission is to achieve all of this with Christ at the centre of all we say and do. Motivated to celebrate what makes everyone in our rich and diverse community different but equal, we welcome students of all faiths and no faith at all – drawing upon the role of Gospel values in our daily lives together.
While excellent progress and outcomes for all students may signpost the impact of our curriculum, holistically, we look first and foremost to celebrate the happiness and successes (however small) of the whole child on their individual journey. For this reason, the personal development and enrichment opportunities that surround the academic education we provide, are also incredibly important to us. Naturally, we are passionate about what goes on inside classrooms, but also recognise that some of the best memories and biggest smiles come from the college stage, the sports pitch, the rewards outing or that first trip away from home.
Crucially, Bishop Milner is a place where your child will be known, valued and remembered. I hope you enjoy the insight that these pages offer and very much look forward to meeting you.
